Psychological Assessment and Patient-Centered Measurement

Reliable psychological assessment is essential for effective clinical care and impactful research. Our work focuses on designing, validating and applying tools that capture psychological, emotional, and behavioral aspects of health in meaningful and practical ways. We emphasize the use of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) and patient-reported experience measures (PREMs) to ensure that individuals’ voices are central in understanding their needs, progress, and care experiences. By exploring innovative approaches to assessment across different healthcare settings, we aim to improve early identification, monitoring, and support strategies. Our research also supports the development of assessment methods for use in patient-centered care, digital health, and professional training, always with attention to cultural relevance, clarity, and clinical usefulness.
