Forensic Experts Guidelines Project was a national initiative we designed and implemented independently, aiming to provide practical tools for forensic professionals in two crucial areas: informed consent and initial psychological assistance. Our team conducted a needs assessment and qualitative analysis to understand the challenges faced in the field, and based on these findings, we developed two comprehensive guideline manuals. These resources support forensic experts in applying proper procedures when informing and obtaining consent from individuals, as well as in offering psychological support in emergency situations. By completing this project, we contributed to strengthening professional skills and promoting a more responsible and sensitive approach to forensic practice in Greece.
