IC-GROWTH

IC-Growth is a project aimed at strengthening psychosocial care for people with cancer in Greece. Our work focused on post-traumatic growth (PTG), and as a team we fully designed and implemented an intervention that helps people living with cancer experience positive psychological change in the face of illness. Beyond the intervention, we collected evidence from research and patient input, listened to the experiences of healthcare professionals, and mapped international best practices. This allowed us to not only evaluate the effects of PTG-focused care, but also to translate our findings into realistic recommendations for clinical practice and health policy. Through this project, our team combined research, clinical insight, and stakeholder engagement to create pathways for improving psychosocial oncology care at both the individual and system level.
